Nothing but problems from the principal and staff. My son is ADHD and the school refuses to give him self contained classes, special Ed, or any other program. If he misbehaves slightly, my phone blows up. I actually got threatened with an arrest for verbal assault when I said the school was f****d. All because they didn't wait 15 minutes from the time my son walked in to call me to tell me he had extra energy. Anyone with ADHD children knows it takes longer that 15-30 minutes for meds to kick in. Horrible school system. Only looking forward out for awards, not your children!!!!

Teachers are great. Great school moved here from NC and this school is top notch. Teacher and parent communication is great

On top of the un called for suspensions there is little to no communication between the school and home. We received a school news letter about a family day and when we showed up we where sent home because it wasn't for our son's grade. All the note said was "Join us for Family Day from 9:30-10:30" it never said anything about specific grades. Notices about field tips come two days before the money is dew. We received a note reminding us when end of the year awards day was on a wednesday, 1/2 days all week and last day would be friday. He road the bus Thursday and we where called to pick him up at 8:10 because they shouldn't come back after awards everyone is just counted "present" on 1/2 days no one is actually suppose to come those days. Well they could have told us that in the letter announcing the last week of school's schedule, and why was the bus still running? We are moving out of this district ASAP.

Everyone is very helpful and always kind and caring towards student's

My son just graduated k5 at Woodruff Primary School. This was our first year at this school and it was awful. It is suppose to be one of the top 4 school districts in the state but it seems they only have this rating because they push out any students they don't want. My son has been suspended multiple times this year for things like; spinning in circles and bumping into a child, jumping of the slide, pushing a child back (the other child was not punished), and sitting under a table. I agree a child has to fallow directions but come on he was 5 when the yer started. Eventually his stopped talking to his teacher because he go into trouble either way and they sent him home for that. I asked if he could start seeing the school councilor, because it was getting ridiculous, i even called the district and i always got the same answers, "We will get you some info about that." I wasn't surprised when i never received but instead they cut him to half days for the second half of the school year. I have spoken to multiple parents, unless you are from here/ have connections in the school you can expect your child to be treated the same.

Awesome school
